Reflecting on Another Successful Year

As 2019 is coming to a close, I thought it would be a good time to reflect on the year we have had as a company and focus on some exciting new things to come in 2020. The team here in Australia enjoyed their end of year party on the water, because that’s one of the many benefits we have from living in QLD. The day was to say thankyou for all the hard work the team has put in this year and have some time to bond, catch up and strengthen our own relationships as well.

Overall it has been a really positive year for the company. Papua New Guinea just continues to grow, hitting new records for our permanent placements and payroll services across a diverse range of clients and industries. The team also recently enjoyed their end of year get together in beautiful Papua New Guinea, to reflect on this year and also make plans for an even more successful year to come, with massive projects in the pipeline waiting to be green lit.

Peopleconnexion International have had a remarkable year, delivering Learning & Development initiatives across the Pacific. As we continue to build our own internal capacity; it is rewarding to get such consistent feedback on how we have truly made a difference and helped organisations develop and grow. More importantly, is the feedback from the participants themselves, and the long-term relationships we have developed with each person we have worked with this year.

Australia has presented us with some fantastic opportunities moving into next year, and we look forward as a company, on building the transport infrastructure and engineering market with some of our key clients, some of which we have been involved with for more than 12 years. Qld’s growth will once again provide some amazing opportunities for candidates and clients alike, with some mega projects being undertaken in Brisbane with some big budgets.

Throughout having a really positive and successful year we have managed to hire new staff, continue to train weekly, promoted staff, moved offices and all whilst still delivering our quality 30 step process.

Next year in 2020, we are positioned to have another record-breaking year with huge projects in the pipeline waiting to be greenlit in Papua New Guinea, a massive budget for infrastructure in Qld, Brisbane alone attracting 20 Billion, and the learning and development team is looking forward to educating even more industry professionals next year.

We would like to extend our thanks to everyone that has supported us this year, and we appreciate and are keen to further develop our relationships with everyone that we have done business with over the last year.
