About the Graduate Development Scheme
At Ok Tedi Mining Limited (OTML), we have been successfully operating in the Star Mountains of the Western Province, PNG, for over 40 years. Our commitment to safe and profitable resource development drives us to seek the most talented and motivated team players to join us in our mission.
Since 1988, our two-year Graduate Development Scheme has been transforming university graduates into skilled professionals. This comprehensive program provides on-the-job training, exposing graduates to cutting-edge technology and industry-best practices.
We are currently inviting applicants from the below disciplines, in line with the key criteria to apply:
Key Criteria
To be considered for the 2026 GDS, you must:
- Final-year undergraduates from PNG or overseas universities in 2025.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 or a Cumulative Weighted Average of 75% and above in your last three semesters.
- Aspiring professionals with strong leadership potential and the following qualities:
- Healthy lifestyle
- Leadership experience or potential
- Strong written & oral communication skills
- Confidence & decision-making ability
- Effective planning & organisational skills
- Team player with flexibility & adaptability
- Problem analysis & solving skills
- Consistent academic excellence
