Gima Tavaperry

Gima leads Peopleconnexion’s Port Moresby office, overseeing the full lifecycle of the branch and a high-performing team of recruiters while driving business growth and client relationships. Her own expertise spans the entire recruitment lifecycle — sourcing, talent management, business development and operational leadership — with particular depth in HR, sales, marketing, communications and public relations. Over eight years with Peopleconnexion she has delivered major recruitment drives for some of PNG’s largest organisations, including a 63-role campaign for the PNG Tourism Promotion Authority and senior recruitment for the Autonomous Bougainville Government. A hands-on leader and mentor, Gima is fluent in English and Tok Pisin and is dedicated to inspiring greatness in her team, her candidates and her clients.
