As Peopleconnexion’s PNG Country Manager, Stephen partners with clients and candidates for their long-term success, right from the first hello. He has worked in recruitment since 2002 and led the Port Moresby operation since 2015, building deep connections and wide networks across PNG industry — from mining, oil & gas and construction to finance, HR, engineering, FMCG and logistics. Under Stephen the PNG team applies Australian standards through Peopleconnexion’s proven 30-step methodology, with more than 40 long-term repeat recruitment partners and unrivalled local market knowledge. He takes a relationship-led, consultative approach, and his favourite part of the job is still the same: connecting a candidate with an employer and starting a relationship that serves them both.
