We started life as an engineering recruitment agency in Brisbane, Australia. We know that the gift of reading releases a pathway for greatness, so we endeavour to open the world of literacy to children through books; career knowledge to young adults; and mentoring for upcoming professionals.\n<h2>\n\t\tWhat we&#8217;ve been grateful to have achieved in the community to date:\n\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" loading='false' src=\"https:\/\/cdn-01.cms-ap-v2i.applyflow.com\/peopleconnexion\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/bbp-school.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<h2>20,000 books &#8211; 20,000 children&#8217;s pathways opened <\/h2><p>Each year, we are proud to partner with Buk Bilong Pikinini (BbP) in Papua New Guinea (PNG), who book-by-book, is building the literacy of PNG children.<\/p>\n<p>Did you know that books are not available to purchase in PNG? We know that opening a book, opens a child to a world of knowledge, which opens doors to pathways for them to be great. So, that&#8217;s why, since 2019, we have collected, shipped and donated over 20,000 books into libraries being built by BbP. That&#8217;s over 20,000 children&#8217;s lives, with the help of our generous communities, we have been able to change through literacy.<\/p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading='false' src=\"https:\/\/cdn-01.cms-ap-v2i.applyflow.com\/peopleconnexion\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/bbp-school.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" loading='false' src=\"https:\/\/cdn-01.cms-ap-v2i.applyflow.com\/peopleconnexion\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/volunteering.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<h2>Creating pathways for career success in the community<\/h2><p>In 2022, our Brisbane and Gold Coast offices came together for our annual volunteering day, partnering with a local organisation on the Gold Coast who provide shelter and support for youths. We each paired with a young adult and had the privilege to guide them through the skills and tools to empower them in their career-finding pathway. CV writing, interview skills and common questions, how to dress for success and online branding &#8211; all things we were humbled to be able to share.
